In the heart of Split, a hands-on cooking class brings local gastronomy to life through traditional pasta and slow-cooked pašticada, followed by a shared lunch that celebrates authentic Dalmatian flavours. DAY 3 – OMIŠ & POLJICA REGION | Cliffs, Cetina Canyon & Traditional Flavours
The day begins in Omiš, a dramatic coastal town set at the mouth of the Cetina River, where towering mountains meet the Adriatic Sea. A walking tour through the old town reveals its pirate heritage, stone alleys, and viewpoints shaped by the striking contrast between river, canyon, and sea. After free time to explore, the journey continues inland to the Poljica region for an authentic countryside experience at a local family estate. Continuing to a local olive oil mill, guests discover the process behind award-winning Šolta olive oil, from harvest to cold pressing, followed by a guided tasting that explores its aroma, texture, and distinct terroir-driven flavour.
