Day 1, SPLIT - KAŠTELA - TROGIR - NP KRKA - ZADAR
We start the day with a departure from Split to Kaštela, a series of coastal settlements, followed by a visit to the Putalj winery, ideal for tasting authentic Dalmatian wines. We continue our journey towards the Marina, where we taste local olive oil. We continue our journey towards Trogir, which is also our last stop. A small town where every stone tells a story, and every street takes us through Greek, Roman and Venetian times. Next is a drive to one of the most beautiful national parks in Croatia - NP Krka, where we enjoy walking between beautiful waterfalls. Arrival in the Kraljevski dvori winery near the city of Zadar. Tour and tasting of local wines with a beautiful view. After the tasting, overnight stay in Zadar.
DAY 2, NIN - PAG - NP PLITVICE - OPATIJA
On the second day, we depart Zadar and visit the Nin Saltworks, where a guided tour and museum of the saltworks awaits us. The journey continues to the cheese farm Gligora on the island of Pag, where we experience the rich flavors of numerous cheeses. After the cheese tasting, we head towards the Plitvice lakes national park, a masterpiece of nature, where wooden pathways guide you through a symphony of waterfalls, crystal-clear lakes, and magnificent greenery. Walking tour inside the park unfolds a sensory delight, with the sound of rushing water and the scent of pristine nature enveloping you, creating an unforgettable experience in the heart of Croatia's breathtaking national park. After the tour of the national park, we head towards the city of Opatija for an overnight stay.
DAY 3, ISTRIA
Day for exploring Istria. First, there is a stop in Pula and a visit to the amphitheater. Continuation of the journey and arrival at Zigante family, where we will take you on a unique experience of truffle hunting and tasting. After the party with truffles, we take you to the Kabola winery for wine tasting and snacks of local delicacies and also to Kozlović winery for wine tasting. After a fulfilling day, departure to Motovun and an overnight stay.
DAY 4, PLEŠIVICA - ZAGREB - KUTJEVO
On the fourth day, we reach the city of Zagreb - the capital of Croatia, where sightseeing follows. Halfway there we stop at Tomac Winery for a local experience along with wine and food tasting. An essential part of Zagreb is the Chocolate Museum, where you will have the opportunity to look around and taste several types of your favorite candy. This is followed by the departure towards the Kezele estate and time for a cellar tour with wine tasting and local specialties accompanied by live traditional music. Continuation of the journey towards Slavonia and the golden plains. Departure to the town of Kutjevo and a tour of the Kutjevo cellars, where we have an overnight stay.
DAY 5, OSIJEK - KNEŽEVI VINOGRADI
The journey to the east of Croatia follows with a stop in Osijek, the fourth largest city in Croatia which charms visitors with its architecture, cultural scene and scenic Drava river, creating a delightful blend of the past and present. The journey continues to the small village of Kneževi vineyards, captivating with its serene landscapes, offering a peaceful retreat for those seeking a tranquil escape. There, we enjoy a tour of the wineries and some tastings, exploring the flavors of wonderful wines, brandies and liqueurs.
DAY 6, VUKOVAR - ILOK
This is followed by a drive to Vukovar, a city with a resilient spirit, notably marked by its endurance throughout the Croatian war of Independence. We visit the museum of Vučedol which showcases the archeological treasures of Vučedol, and Vukovar water tower, a poignant symbol of resilience which stands as a memorial to the city’s turbulent past, bearing witness to the devastating effects of the Croatian War of Independence. After visiting Vukovar, we head to the estate Principovac and Iločki podrumi, for a tour and tasting. Overnight stay.
DAY 7, STON - PELJEŠAC
Departure to the south and the town of Ston, where the Rizman winery is located, where we have guided wine tasting with a small snack. This is followed by a trip to Villa Korun, where we enjoy tasting the queen of shellfish - the oyster. After the tasting, we head to the Pelješac peninsula, known for its many wineries and quality wines, and visit rich wineries: Matuško, Korta Katarina. Overnight stay.
DAY 8, DUBROVNIK
We start the last day of our tour with a trip to Dubrovnik, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”, a stunning coastal city with some breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. Guided tour around the city and some free time for exploring. After that, we go to the Dubelj estate, where we learn about the traditional manner of obtaining olive oil with the help of horses. The presentation is followed by a tasting with a light snack. Before the end of the tour, we take you to the Bota Šare restaurant to round off our trip with traditional Dalmatian dishes.
