Join us on a four-day trip to Tuscany and get to know some of the most beautiful Italian cities. Stop by Bologna, the city of knowledge, and expand your knowledge by getting to know the past of this historical place. Come with us on a full day trip to Florence, as part of which we will have a guided tour with a local tour guide to get in touch with one of the most visited Italian cities. An unavoidable part of our trip is certainly the Cinque Terre National Park where, with a pleasant train ride, we will visit Rio Maggiore and Manarola, followed by a visit to the famous Pisa and Leaning Tower, the main attraction popular photos of "pushing the tower". On the way back, we stop in the renaissance town of Lucca with a beautiful tower that also serves as a lookout point with an unforgettable view of the city.

ITINERARY

DAY 1, SPLIT - BOLOGNA - MONTECATINI TERME

Departure from Split at 05:00 AM from the main bus station. Driving through Trogir and Rijeka (possible subsequent boarding of passengers with prior notice). Pleasant drive through Slovenia and Italy with short stops along the way for rest. Arrival in Bologna, the oldest university city in the world, also known as the city of knowledge, a city of excellent architecture and art. Sightseeing; Piazza Maggiore, the main square and also the main attraction of Bologna, dominated by the D'Accursio Palace and the Basilica of St. Petronia - Palace of Dell'Archiginnasio, the site of the world's oldest university - Piazza San Stefano, also known as the 'Square of the Seven Churches' - Neptune's Fountain, a symbol of the city itself - Quadrilatero Market, which was the heart of the Middle Ages old town. Free time for lunch. Continuation of the trip to Montecatini Terme. Check in. Overnight stay.

DAY 2, MONTECATINI TERME - FLORENCE - MONTECATINI TERME

Breakfast. Departure by bus for a full day trip to Florence. City tour accompanied by a local guide; Florence Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, which is one of the most famous Italian buildings - the Baptistery, one of the oldest buildings in the city - the Church of Santa Croce, one of the main churches in the city, and the largest Franciscan church in the world - Ponte Vecchio, an old bridge placed on the Arno River - Piazza della Signoria, the most important square in Florence - Uffizi Gallery, one of the oldest and most famous art museums in the world - Church of San Lorenzo, one of the most important artistic achievements of the Western world - Chapel Medici, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Florence - Piazzale Michelangelo which offers a panoramic view of Florence - Palazzo Vecchio, one of the most recognizable symbols of Florence. Free time for lunch and exploring the city. Return to Montecatini Terme. Dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 3, MONTECATINI TERME - CINQUE TERRE - PISA

Breakfast. After breakfast, we head to the Cinque Terre National Park. We enter Liguria and arrive in the city of La Spezia, from where we continue by train to the Cinque Terre National Park, which in 1997 was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The first stop on our way is Riomaggiore, a place located in the southern part of the park. Free time to explore the beauties of this place. We continue along the Path of Love to Manarola, a place known for its caves, fishing harbor and beautiful views. Free time. Return by train to La Spezia. The road takes us further to the famous Pisa and the Square of Miracles, the fascinating cathedral and the inevitable Leaning Tower, one of the most photographed places in Italy. Free time for lunch and a walk. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Overnight stay.

 

DAY 4, MONTECATINI TERME - LUCCA - SPLIT

Breakfast. Check out of the hotel. We head to nearby Lucca, a charming town located on the river Serchio, famous for its medieval city walls and the historic center of the old town. After an orientation walk around the city, there is free time for lunch. We recommend a tour of the Guinigi Tower, the most famous tower in Lucca, famous for its roof garden with a beautiful view of the city. Return to Croatia. Arrival in Split is expected around midnight.

When applying for a trip, it is necessary to pay 40% of the total amount, and the rest 30 days before the start of the trip. The registration for the trip is valid only with the payment of an advance.

If a sufficient number of passengers does not register for the trip no later than 7 days before the start of the trip, the travel agency is obliged to inform the passenger about the cancellation.

Information related to Covid-19

Anyone entering Italy is required to complete the Digital Passenger Location Form (dPLF) (https://app.euplf.eu/#/).

To enter Italy you need a Digital EU Covid certificate that meets one of the following conditions:

- Completed vaccination cycle against Covid-19 (2 or 3 doses) or

- Recovery from disease caused by Covid-19 virus or

- Negative PCR or antigenic test (PCR test must not be older than 72 hours and antigenic must not be older than 48 hours before entering Italy)

In case of impossibility to present a digital EU Covid certificate, ie Covid passport, entry into Italy is allowed only under the condition of self-isolation for 5 days after which an antigenic or PCR test is performed. Children under the age of six are exempt from the obligation to undergo a molecular or antigenic test. Minors (aged 6 to 18) traveling with a parent who is not subject to self-isolation (because the parent has a vaccination certificate or a certificate of cure) are also exempt from the isolation obligation, but must present proof of testing by smear with a negative result. From 1 February 2022, the duration of the COVID certificate has been reduced from 9 to 6 months.

From January 10, 2022 to March 31, 2022. only people who have Covid confirmation that they have been vaccinated against the SARS-COV2 virus and people who have recovered from the virus will be able to participate in most social activities and use public transport - buses, trains, boats, etc.

The same certificate is required to enter hotels and similar structures, fairs, congress halls, restaurants, sporting events, swimming pools, theaters, sporting events, restaurants and indoor cafes.

Until 31 March 2022, the consumption of food and beverages in restaurants, on the counter or at the table, indoors (and from 10 January 2022 and outdoors), is allowed only to persons holding a "reinforced Covid certificate" (vaccinated and cured) with the exception of children under the age of 12 and persons excluded from the vaccination campaign on the basis of an appropriate medical certificate.

In Italy, from 11 February 2022, it is no longer mandatory to wear a face mask (of any kind) outdoors, but it is necessary to have it with you. In addition, throughout the national territory, until 31 March 2022, it is mandatory to wear a face mask (type FFP2) in all means of public transport (including trains, ferries and aircraft), during public events, whether they are held in indoors or outdoors, as well as during any sporting event (indoors or outdoors).
