Description

Visit the picturesque Austrian village of Hallstatt, located on the southwest coast. Due to the rich salt mine, the place has been inhabited since ancient times, and today it is becoming an increasingly popular tourist destination and its value has been noticed by UNESCO, since it has been put on the protection list in 1997. Due to its exceptional beauty, Hallstatt became the inspiration for the cartoon Frozen. Known for its beautiful scenery, lake, and mountain ranges, it’s a favorite tourist destination, whether in the summer or winter months. One of the attractive features of this place is the cable car that leads to the famous lookout, Hallstatt Skywalk, which offers a magnificent view of the whole place and within which there is a restaurant where you can relax, soaking up the beautiful landscape. It is interesting to know that the Asians were so amazed by the beauty of this place that they built a replica of it in China.

Get to know Salzburg, Mozart's hometown, famous for its Baroque architecture, which is why the old part of the city is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The place stretches along the river Salzach, which gives it a special charm. Given the connection of Salzburg and Mozart, one of the ‘must see’ places is most definitely Mozart's birthplace, which is today one of the most visited museums in the world, and on its three floors provides insight into all the details of the famous composer's life. Mirabell Castle and Gardens in the heart of the city are also on the ‘must see’ list. Luxuriant gardens with beautiful flowers are one of the most photographed tourist places. It is interesting to note that newlyweds from different parts of the world come to Salzburg to take pictures in the famous gardens.

Explore the history of the famous Nymphenburg Castle, one of the largest royal castles in Europe. In the beginning, it served as the residence of the Bavarian rulers, including King Ludwig II. The castle consists of three large pavilions, a porcelain factory and museum, and a hall with examples of old carriages that were used in the past as the main means of transportation. It is surrounded by lush Baroque-style gardens, and a hunting lodge known for its Hall of Mirrors.

Visit the center of Munich, the Bavarian capital located on the Isar River, at the foot of the Alps. This city is extremely rich in history, numerous museums, medieval castles, and various events. The symbol of Munich is certainly the Hofbrauhaus brewery, one of the stops on our way. Since it was founded as early as 1589 as part of the Kingdom of Bavaria, it can be said that Germany’s most famous brewery has royal roots.

Apart from Nymphenburg, several other castles in Bavaria, including Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau and Linderhof, deserve no less attention.

Neuschwanstein is known as the most famous German castle, and it was built by Ludwig II who died before the castle was completely finished.

Hohenschwangau Castle is famous for its fountains as well as beautifully landscaped gardens. It used to be Ludwig's residence, and it offers a beautiful view of the lake.

Linderhof Castle is the only castle completed during the life of King Ludwig II, and it is also the smallest of the three castles.

Enjoying the beauties of Lake Chiemesee, also known as the 'Bavarian Sea', we arrive at Herrenchiemsee Castle, the largest and most impressive castle of Ludwig II, who supposedly stayed there for only nine days. It is believed that his favorite room in the castle was the room with mirrors in which he read at night.

Join us in our fairytale adventure and take a walk with us through the inspiring castles and gardens of Bavaria.
